When it comes to installing windows, doors, awnings and insulation professionally, Tailor Made Installations are un-matched. Replacement Installation

 

Replacement of existing vinyl, aluminum and some older wood windows can be done without  new jamb extensions and casing. If there is no existing casing - a plaster "return" and "stop" mounding - the installation of the new window will be like the existing. Interior trim and wood or marble sills can be kept intact. New sills may be installed if desired.

  

Full Frame Installation

 

Newer wood windows that have interior trim casing should be completely removed - right down to the studs - and new jamb extensions and casing installed with the new window. With a full frame installation, the new window will be the same size as the old window. All old wood, that is likely to be as rotted and unsound as the rest of the window, is removed and new trim, in and out is installed. Of course, full frame installation is available for almost any window replacement, older windows too!

Replacement Installation  
If you have an old, wood door and want to replace it with the least amount of custom work and expense, then a replacement door from Tailor Made is the answer. Most styles of steel and fiberglass doors be installed without removing the existing jamb and brickmoulding. We use a steel L-Frame that fits inside your existing jamb. We don't have to remove and replace any existing storm door, since the installation is done from the inside only. You get a new sill and weather-stripping to make it a water and air tight door installation.  
Full Frame Installation  
When you need to replace the entire jamb, exterior brickmoulding and interior casing, then full frame installation is the right choice. We measure your existing door and install the correct size jamb - there are many sizes - use the right size mouldings and make sure the door unit is sized right to fit your opening. We custom size the door unit to fit the opening, rather then changing the opening to fit a "standard size" off-the-shelf door. This way your new door looks and operates like it should - they way you expect it to be.  
Door Installation Options  
When you have new doors installed, Tailor Made has a variety of options that will make your doors look better and leave you with less or no maintenence when we leave. Be sure to discuss "vinyl or aluminum capping on the jamb" with your Tailor Made representative. You will love the end results.  
        
Cut-Out Openings  
Tailor Made installers will cut out wall openings for windows and doors - in brick or siding. When you want to add a window or door where there are none existing, Tailor Made will provide a new opening, or, enlarge an existing opening to accomodate a larger window or door then is there now.

When you need service for any product installed by Tailor Made, simply contact us and tell us what the problem is. If we can't help you to a satisfactory solution over the phone, we will schedule a service call. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm and Saturday from 9 am to 3 pm.
